JAMB MOCK EXAM DATE AND MAIN JAMB EXAM DATE FOR 2020/2021

2020 UTME: JAMB to conduct mock exam Feb 18th – One Week to JAMB Mock 2020

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has concluded arrangements for the conduct of mock examination slated for February 18, 2020 nationwide.

The mock examination is at no cost to the candidates except the N600 payable to the private centre owners for candidates posted to centres not owned by JAMB.

The board disclosed that candidates can print their mock examination slips which are available online to know when and where to take the examination. The mock examination, which is voluntary, was an initiative of Prof. Is-haq Oloyede preparatory to the main UTME.

The mock examination helps candidates to be in tune with the rudiments of the Computer Based Test (CBT). It also helps the board test its facilities with a view to having a hitch-free examination.

JAMB stated that it is important to note that results from the mock examination would not be added or have any effect on the main examination.

While the JAMB mock exam gives an idea to candidates lucky to be chosen, how the main exam will be conducted, it also helps JAMB
to check that all systems are working and ready for the actual exam which
begins from 14th March, 2020.

Jamb withdraw’s on the use of National identification number, for registration of up coming 2020 jamb registration.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended the use of the National Identification Number for registration for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.

The registrar of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede, who stated this while briefing journalists in Abuja on Saturday, said the move was to provide more time for candidates to get their national identification numbers.

He said the suspension was also to address the technical challenges experienced at some centres.

He asked candidates to disregard the use of NIN for the 2020 registration and strictly comply with other procedures for the registration. He however said that JAMB will consider the use of NIMC for 2021 exams.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
